Beth and Nick were married on the 1st of December at the Waiora Scout Camp, nestled in the hidden Silverstream Valley just outside of Dunedin.

Beth and her family put so much effort into the little details of the day. Her parents worked tirelessly to grow the beautiful flowers in their garden to be shown off as the ladies got ready and all the effort in creating the arrangement used on the tables and for decor, and Beth spent hours drying flowers for the confetti and putting together invitations and other small personal touches. Freya, their adorable daughter, looked gorgeous as the flower girl.

Meeting up with Beth beforehand, she shared that the most important part of the day was having her friends and family enjoy the celebration and ensuring their daughter was included. The day was beautiful and sunny, and I joined Beth and the ladies as they prepared at her family's home in East Taieri. Stellar Bridal did her makeup, and her friend did her hair. It was so lovely to be a part of the excitement and joy leading up to the ceremony, surrounded by love and laughter.

The ceremony, held at the Waiora Scout Camp, was officiated by Caitlin from One Who Celebrates and was truly lovely. Freya stood proudly by her mum and dad, making the moment even more special. As the celebrations kicked off, Beth glowed with happiness, and Nick's pride in calling Beth his wife was evident.

After the ceremony, Beth and Nick chose to linger behind at the ceremony's location, allowing time to capture photographs of them together. The tranquil surroundings of Waiora Scout Camp provided a perfect backdrop, with the soft afternoon light casting a warm glow around them.
It was a moment of quiet reflection amidst the joyous celebrations, as Beth and Nick enjoyed each other's company against the natural beauty of the Silverstream Valley. It was wonderful to see them savouring those first moments as husband and wife.

The day overflowed with love, embraced by the presence of cherished family and friends. Laughter echoed across the lawn as children played freely, adding to the joyous festivities. A feast, lovingly prepared by family members, delighted the senses and filled hearts with warmth. Nicholls and Co provided the charming wooden benches, tables and bar leaners, golf, jenga, and umbrellas which were welcomed during the warmth of the afternoon sun.

The cheerful Frosty J's truck rolled in just as the afternoon sun began to dip.The sight of Frosty J's instantly sparked excitement among the guests, especially the children who eagerly lined up for their favorite frozen treats. Kids ran around with dripping cones, and even the adults couldn't resist joining in the fun.
As dusk settled over the valley, the laughter and chatter around Frosty J's continued, creating memories that would linger long after the last ice-cream had been enjoyed
